Michelle Dickinson
Michelle is a third generation Floridian and she was born and raised in South Tampa. Michelle graduated from Plant High School and then attended Florida Atlantic University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. Michelle then attended Nova Southeastern University where she obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies.
While attending FAU and Nova, Michelle worked in ophthalmology diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions. She enjoyed assisting in eye surgery and seeing the dramatic improvement this made in patients’ lives. After graduating from Nova, Michelle spent the first 4 years of her career as a physician assistant working as a vein care specialist using interventional radiology techniques to treat medical and cosmetic vein disease.
Michelle has always lived an active lifestyle. Michelle played club volleyball growing up and was a cheerleader at Plant High school. Today, Michelle enjoys her Peloton and attending classes at CAMP. Her passion for health and fitness brought her to Tampa Bay Total Wellness, where she treats a variety of conditions and creates personalized treatment plans to help her patients meet their wellness goals and feel their best.
Michelle spends most of her free time with her parents, sister, and nephews who also live in South Tampa. Their favorite family activities include boating, spending time at the beach, traveling, and frequenting their favorite local restaurants.
Michelle met her husband Tyler at summer camp in North Carolina when they were only 10 years old. Over the years they stayed in touch despite living in different cities, but one Gaspailla they ran into each other and decided to give long distance dating a shot. They dated for 9 years through college and graduate school and were married in March of 2021. Last October, they welcomed their son, Beau Overstreet, to the world. Beau is an energetic baby who keeps the whole family on their toes. They also have a Bernedoodle named Ralph, who enjoys riding shotgun in their golf cart, taking walks through their neighborhood, and most importantly, snuggling.
